Snow on the peaks with mild weather ahead

WILLIAMS – The long range weather forecast starts of with patchy fog tomorrow after 11 a.m. Otherwise it will be mostly sunny with a high around 57.

Monday night temperatures are predicted to drop to 32-degrees and stay around that temperature at night through Thursday. Temperatures during the day are predicted to be just above 50-degrees through Thursday with light winds.

There is a chance that the riders of the Polar Express will enjoy snow starting Friday night. There is a prediction of a chance of rain Friday with a high near 47. There is a chance of snow through the weekend until Sunday.

Temperatures over the weekend are not predicted to break 50-degrees with a low of 30 Friday night and 25 Saturday night.

Coconino County Delayed Start February 28, 2017
Due to heavy snowfall and icy road conditions in the Flagstaff area, County offices will be operating on a delayed start and will be minimally staffed until 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 28.

Maine Consolidated School District seeking Governing Board applicants February 21, 2017
Coconino County Superintendent of Schools Risha VanderWey is seeking applicants for appointment to the Maine Consolidated School District Governing Board. There are currently two vacant seats.

We believe in the First Amendment to the Constitution and that it protects speech that we do not want to hear, not speech that we want to hear. However, we do not believe that protects personal slurs, slander or libel.
