Snow today, gone tomorrow

Clouds covers Bill Williams mountain.

There is a chance of snow in the afternoon for Williams while Flagstaff may get some more snow overnight. Accumulation of snow will be less than 1-inch.

The long range forecast shows temperatures returning to around 50 during the day through Wednesday dropping to around 30s at night.

Some still found ways to enjoy what little snow we are receiving.

Not just clouds in the sky

WILLIAMS – There are not only clouds over Williams. The Kaibab Forest Service is burning piles of debris while the weather is so pleasant. There was not enough snow, however, to burn as much as they wanted. You can expect more pile burns as weather permits.

Due to heavy snowfall and icy road conditions in the Flagstaff area, County offices will be operating on a delayed start and will be minimally staffed until 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 28.

Coconino County Community Development will have an all staff training 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 1.

Maine Consolidated School District seeking Governing Board applicants February 21, 2017
Coconino County Superintendent of Schools Risha VanderWey is seeking applicants for appointment to the Maine Consolidated School District Governing Board. There are currently two vacant seats.

We believe in the First Amendment to the Constitution and that it protects speech that we do not want to hear, not speech that we want to hear. However, we do not believe that protects personal slurs, slander or libel.
