The ARRL will sponsor a 2016 Atlantic Season Hurricane Webinar on Thursday, July 21, at 8 PM ET (0000 UTC on Friday, July 22, UTC). The approximately 90-minute session will address the role of Amateur Radio during the 2015 Hurricane Season. Anyone interested in hurricane preparedness and response is invited to attend this online presentation.
Topics will include a meteorological overview of the upcoming season; Amateur Radio station WX4NHC at the National Hurricane Center: Who We Are and What We Do; ARRL Media and Public Relations; the Hurricane Watch Net (HWN); the VoIP Hurricane Net, and ARRL coordination and interface.
The program will include presentations by representatives of the National Hurricane Center and WX4NHC, the VoIP Hurricane Net, the HWN, the Canadian Hurricane Centre, and the ARRL. Webinar registration is open to all, but should be of particular interest to radio amateurs in hurricane-prone areas. The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session.

WILLIAMS — After a bright, but windy, day, rain hit this afternoon with bites of hail mixed in. The forecast continues with rain tonight and thunderstorms tomorrow during the day. Thunderstorms are expected to continue through Monday clearing the rest of the week through Friday. Winds are expected to be from 7 to 17-mph with gusts up to 28 through the weekend. 
WILLIAMS — Flagstaff and Williams cannot seem to shake the winter doldrums despite a mild mid-winter. Last week was filled with light snow and some heavy rains which continued through this weekend.

WILLIAMS — April showers began today in Williams about 11:30 and ran until about 1:15 p.m. While the snow was heavy, the accumulation is less than 1/4 inch so far. The snow is expected to continue through the night with little or no snow accumulation. Tomorrow and Wednesday is expected to be clear with a chance of showers picking up Wednesday night and through the weekend.
PHOENIX — With the weekend forecast calling for gusty winds along with the possibility of snow in higher elevations, motorists should be on alert for adverse weather including blowing dust and limited visibility, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

WILLIAMS — Half-frozen puddles, a couple of chunks of ice and a dusting of snow is the remnant of the storm last night. There is a chance of snow overnight and rain on Tuesday clearing the rest of the week. The snow so far this winter could be a danger sign for a poor summer ahead.
