Pedestrian Fatality in Flagstaff

FLAGSTAFF — On Wednesday evening at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to a vehicle and pedestrian collision which resulted in the death of the pedestrian on Fourth Street and Third Avenue, just south of the dedicated crosswalk at the intersection.

The deceased has been identified as 52 year old Franklin Morgan. Mr. Morgan had been attempting to cross the street and was struck by a south bound vehicle. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the driver’s actions.

Two Officers had been at the intersection of Fourth Street and Third Avenue when the collision occurred and witnessed the event. Lifesaving actions were taken, although the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries.

Golden-Krust-1WASHINGTON — Golden Krust Patties, a Bronx, N.Y. establishment, is recalling approximately 9,073,384 pounds of beef and chicken products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The products contain egg, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.

The beef and chicken products were produced on various dates from January 24, 2014 through February 26, 2015. The following products are subject to recall:
