Brooklyn and Queens residents arming with everything they can

NEW YORK—New York papers are reporting on the plight of residents with limited arms in Queens and Brooklyn in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

New York Daily News

The New York Daily News reports, “Ever since Sandy strafed the Queens peninsula and tore up the boardwalk, it’s become an often lawless place where cops are even scarcer than electrical power and food. Locals say they are arming themselves with guns, baseball bats, booby traps — even a bow and arrow — to defend against looters.”

It is there that 42-year old Keone Singlehurst stands guard on his Beach 87th street bungalow with bow-and-arrow. Another surfer has knives, a machete and bow-and-arrow ready also. 34-year old Danielle Harris had to booby trap her door and keeps a baseball bat next to her bed to protect her and her children against looters. There are other reports of various methods residents are using to stop looters and criminals from entering their homes.

Yet, in the midst of the reports of staving off roving looters, there are reports of people cleaning up the damage from Sandy and providing food and aid to those in need in the area.

New York Post – Jacinto Gonzalez stands guard against looters in Coney Island.

In Coney Island residents are loading up what guns they have and brandishing baseball bats and machetes.

“Hardened New Yorkers are ready to battle lowlife criminals to protect their homes and stores in storm-ravaged areas plagued by looting and break-ins,” the New York Post reports.

Reports on the Internet allege that New York Mayor Micheal Bloomberg has refused to allow National Guard assistance in Brooklyn because they carry guns. The Borough President asked for the assistance in hopes that the show of those guns would limit the necessity of residents taking matters into their own hands.

Despite the reports of looters and criminals possibly taking advantage of the hurricane disaster, there are no reports of people actually having to use any weapons in their defense nor vigilante activity. The show of force seems to be enough to stave off much of the criminal element.

Bloomberg refuses National Guard assistance to Sandy victims in Brooklyn because of guns.

NEW YORK—A report on Newsbusters indicates that Mayor Michael Rubens Bloomberg of New York refused to allow National Guard units into Brooklyn—despite the pleas of Borough President Markowitz. The reason for denying the aid to Sandy victims was because the National Guard carries guns.

Apparently Bloomberg refused the request an hour before his press conference claiming his brave NYPD and FDNY were “overwhelmed.” Bloomberg refused, alleges the story, because it would turn the Borough into a “police state.”

“We don’t need it,” Mayor Bloomberg said on Wednesday during a press update on the city’s ongoing Hurricane Sandy cleanup. “The NYPD is the only people we want on the street with guns.”—the article reports.

Markowitz hoped that the presence of soldiers would stop a rash of looting and break-ins that occurred in the aftermath of Sandy.

Chicago Bar Offers Free Drink for Votes Against Romney

BreitBart News

A Chicago Bar called “Rocks” is currently offering free drinks to voters at their election-night party. The above photo of the flyer for the bar makes light of the Chicago way, of voting “early and often, (As long as it isn’t for Romney).”

The bar clearly promotes Barack Obama, with the Obama logo appearing in the “O” of this instance of the bar’s name “Rocks.” More importantly, regardless of whom you interpret the sign to endorse, the bar is offering a free beer of the month to those that bring in their voting receipt.

What’s the problem? In Illinois, it’s against the law.

Let the burning begin…

WILLIAMS—The City Southeast Prescribed Fire three-miles southeast of Williams obviously received approval. A plum of smoke rose into the sky about 1 p.m. today and, as predicted, most of the smoke drifted toward Garland Prairie.

Crews plan to backline up to 500-acres over four days to establish and reinforce containment lines for a broadcast burn at a later date.

Smoke will be visible in Williams and along portions of I-40 and County Road 73. Managers expect smoke to drift toward Garland Prairie during the day and down Sycamore Canyon at night.

Crews will implement, monitor, and patrol the burn to ensure it meets the goals and objectives outlined in the prescribed fire plan. Prescribed burns are used to improve forest health, reduce hazardous fuels, and return fire to a fire-adapted ecosystem.

14 rescued from movie ship HMS Bounty; 2 missing

12:03PM EDT October 29. 2012 – U.S. Coast Guard helicopters battling Hurricane Sandy rescued 14 of 16 crewmembers who abandoned the movie ship HMS Bounty before it sank off North Carolina early Monday, but officials said two people were still missing at sea.

The 180-foot, three-masted ship was built for the 1962 film Mutiny on the Bounty and was also featured in a Pirates of the Caribbean movie, according to the The HMS Bounty Organization website, the Associated Press reported.

The Coast Guard said Monday that all 16 members of the HMS Bounty crew had made it onto life rafts before the three-masted ship sank, but only 14 people were hoisted to safety by the two Jayhawk helicopters dispatched from North Carolina.

It was not immediately clear why the two missing crewmembers were not among those rescued 90 miles southeast of Hatteras, N.C.

Health insurance CEOs nervous over prospect of Romney victory, repeal of Obamacare

WASHINGTON — You’d think health insurance CEOs would be chilling the bubbly with Republican Mitt Romney’s improved election prospects, but instead they’re in a quandary.

Although the industry hates parts of President Barack Obama’s health care law, major outfits such as UnitedHealth Group and BlueCross Blue Shield also stand to rake in billions of dollars from new customers who’ll get health insurance under the law. The companies already have invested tens of millions to carry it out.

Were Romney elected, insurers would be in for months of uncertainty as his administration gets used to Washington and tries to make good on his promise repeal Obama’s law. Simultaneously, federal and state bureaucrats and the health care industry would face a rush of legal deadlines for putting into place the major pieces of what Republicans deride as “Obamacare.”

Would they follow the law on the books or the one in the works? What would federal courts tell them to do?

The answers probably would hinge on an always unwieldy Congress.

Halloween: Third Highest Day on Satanic Calendar says Anton LaVey

Does this calendar look familiar to you? It should.

In a couple of days from now, Christians around the world will join hands with satanists, pagans, occultists and the like in an attempt of one of the most insane, bizarre unions to ever hit the planet: Christianizing satanism. Which, by the way, is impossible. But true, blood bought, born again Christians understand this.

Then we have this other group of folks. A group of people who would define themselves as Christians, yet rationalize the mingling of darkness with light.

So, in the quest to uncover the pagan day of Samhain (pronounced sow-en), which celebrates death, demons, ghosts, goblins, witches, werewolves, vampires, sacrifices, and all other things ungodly, I thought to look no further than Anton LaVey.

CNBC Exec’s Children Murdered, 1 Day After CNBC Reports $43 Trillion Bankster Lawsuit

This week financial news organization CNBC gave some mainstream attention to the largest money laundering and racketeering lawsuit in United States History, in which “Banksters” and their U.S. racketeering partners are being accused of laundering of 43 trillion dollars worth of ill gotten gains.

The lawsuit is said to involve officials located in the highest offices of government and the financial sector.

Since this information was surprisingly revealed by the mainstream news organization there has been a very suspicious and deadly fallout at the CNBC headquarters.

Within hours the original page for the article was taken down, and CNBC senior vice president Kevin Krim received news that his children were killed under very suspicious circumstances.

It seems that the murder happened first and then the page was removed later.

According to mainstream accounts the children’s nanny is responsible for the murders, allegedly stabbing both children.
