Transparency not an option?

The Internet is abuzz with the story that the January 20th swearing in of Barrack Obama may be a private affair. Apparently the word is that Obama intends not to allow the media that installed him to attend the ceremony. Alana Goodman of Commentary Magazine reported, “Politico reports that Obama’s second inaugural oath for the ‘most transparent administration in history’ might be administered privately, without any media present.”

The web site Politico reported a quote from the NBC News White House correspondent. “Call me shell-shocked. I’m stunned that this is even an issue; it boggles the mind,” Chuck Todd told POLITICO. “This is not their oath, this is the constitutional oath. It’s not for them. It’s for the public, the citizens of the United Sates. It just boggles the mind. How is this even a debate?”

In his original swearing in ceremony, there were mistakes in the oath of office that he took. Some said that mistake nullified the oath causing another swearing in ceremony to be conducted in the White House in private.

According to the Politico office, the White House intends a public ceremony after the private ceremony. Apparently they intend to reverse the process from the first gaffed ceremony.

The excuse of the White House is alleged to be that January 20th falls on a Sunday, they will hold the ceremony privately and hold a public ceremony the following day.

“The White House Correspondents Association has reason to be concerned,” Goodman wrote in her commentary. “While Obama’s second oath of office in 2009 (if you remember, he had to do it twice) wasn’t completely closed to the media, only four reporters were allowed to attend, writes Dylan Byers.”

Beware: ObamaCare’s now reality

By BETSY McCAUGHEY, New York Post

President Obama’s re-election and Democratic gains in the US Senate end any possibility of repealing the Obama health law. It will roll out as written, imposing major changes soon on you and your family. If you are uninsured because you can’t afford it, help may be on the way. But if you are one of the 250 million Americans with coverage, there are big problems ahead.

  • If you get your health insurance through a job, you might lose it as of Jan. 1, 2014.
  • When you file your taxes, you will have to show proof that you are enrolled in the one-size-fits-all plan approved by the federal government.
  • If you’re a senior or a baby boomer, expect less care than in the past.
  • For the first time in history, the federal government will control how doctors treat privately insured patients
  • If you sell your house and make a profit, you’ll likely be paying a new 3.8 percent tax on the gain.

Barrack Obama declares World Freedom Day

Barrack Obama issued a proclamation declaring today as World Freedom Day. November 9, 1989 was the date in which the Berlin Wall began to be torn down during the administration of President Ronald Reagan.

“Today, we commemorate the collapse of the Iron Curtain and celebrate the freedom that grew in its place. We also remember that for many, the walls of oppression still stand, and the human rights we honor today are still beyond reach,” the proclamation reads.

“People around the world continue to demand fundamental liberties they are denied — freedom to express themselves, live their faith, assemble without fear, and choose their leaders freely and fairly.”

He encourages citizens “…to observe this day with appropriate ceremonies and activities, reaffirming our dedication to freedom and democracy.”

Obama re-election protest escalates at Univ. of Mississippi; racial slurs, 2 arrests reported

JACKSON, Miss. — A protest at the University of Mississippi against the re-election of President Barack Obama grew into crowd of about 400 people with shouted racial slurs as rumors of a riot spread on social media. Two people were arrested on minor charges.

The university said in a statement Wednesday that the gathering at the student union began late Tuesday night with about 30 to 40 students, but grew within 20 minutes as word spread. Some students chanted political slogans while others used derogatory racial statements and profanity, the statement said.

The incident comes just after the 50th anniversary of violent rioting that greeted the forced integration of Ole Miss with the enrollment of its first black student, James Meredith.

Chicago Bar Offers Free Drink for Votes Against Romney

BreitBart News

A Chicago Bar called “Rocks” is currently offering free drinks to voters at their election-night party. The above photo of the flyer for the bar makes light of the Chicago way, of voting “early and often, (As long as it isn’t for Romney).”

The bar clearly promotes Barack Obama, with the Obama logo appearing in the “O” of this instance of the bar’s name “Rocks.” More importantly, regardless of whom you interpret the sign to endorse, the bar is offering a free beer of the month to those that bring in their voting receipt.

What’s the problem? In Illinois, it’s against the law.

They didn’t build that. You did.

MICHIGAN—Target 8 television in Holland, Michigan is reporting on LG Chem company which created a plant to make Lithium-Ion batteries for the Chevy Volt vehicle. Apparently they even fly their Korean flag over the taxpayer built plant. LG makes phones and batteries for Tracfone which provides “Obama phones.”

Like Solyndra and other “green” projects President Obama demanded in his address to the Congress at the beginning of the year, the failure of the “green” Chevy Volt caused a reduction in the requirement for the 15-million batteries a year this plant was to produce.

Now the workers in this factory play monopoly, Texas Hold ’em and watch movies. Some are working on “government time” at non-profit activities. Workers are not allowed to discuss the problem because of confidentiality agreements.

The factory was given property tax breaks by the State of Michigan if they created 300 jobs. So far they only have 200 and some are quitting because they are tired of having nothing to do. 100 of the workers are paid by the U.S. Government.

The company’s goal: 300 employees pumping out 15 million battery cells a year. Its biggest customer: The Chevrolet Volt.

The U.S. Department of Energy provided a $151 million grant, part of Obama’s Recovery Act.

The Korea-based company recently said it has 200 employees, and the company’s most recent federal filing shows 100 of them are funded through the Recovery Act grant.

The company has spent $133 million so far, most for construction and equipment, records show. About 40% has gone to foreign companies — mostly to Korea, a Target 8 analysis shows.

The company also spent more than $533,000 of that federal grant for the groundbreaking, records show.

A Target 8 analysis of federal records shows taxpayers spent $7 million to train workers and have paid more than $700,000 for workers’ health and dental insurance.

There’s millions of dollars more at stake for LG Chem if it doesn’t keep hiring, or if its job numbers fall. The state approved a $25.2 million job-creation state tax credit over 15 years, and a battery cell state tax credit worth $100 million over 4 years. Both are tied to job creation.

LG Chem has yet to file claims for that money, state officials said.

The City of Holland created a Renewable Energy Renaissance Zone, allowing LG Chem to operate free of property taxes for 15 years — if it reaches 300 employees within 5 years. That’s another $48.5 million. (Target 8)

FOREIGN COMPANY BUYS U.S. ELECTION RESULTS REPORTING FIRM

By Bev Harris
http://www.blackboxvoting.org

In a major step towards global centralization of election processes, the world’s dominant Internet voting company has purchased the USA’s dominant election results reporting company.

When you view your local or state election results on the Internet, on portals which often appear to be owned by the county elections division, in over 525 US jurisdictions you are actually redirected to a private corporate site controlled by SOE software, which operates under the name ClarityElections.com.

The good news is that this firm promptly reports precinct-level detail in downloadable spreadsheet format. As reported by BlackBoxVoting.org in 2008, the bad news is that this centralizes one middleman access point for over 525 jurisdictions in AL, AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, KY, MI, KS, IL, IN, NC, NM, MN, NY, SC, TX, UT, WA. And growing.

As local election results funnel through SOE’s servers (typically before they reach the public elsewhere), those who run the computer servers for SOE essentially get “first look” at results and the ability to immediately and privately examine vote details throughout the USA.

KING: Blacks should vote God’s way — against Obama

By Alveda King

Earlier this year, President Obama became the first president in American history to openly advocate for homosexual “marriage,” explicitly reversing his position from four years ago, when, at a forum in Saddleback Church in California, he stated his support for traditional marriage, saying that it was the biblical view he held.

I, along with many others in the black community, was very disturbed. I wish I could say I was shocked, but I never believed his word at Saddleback Church. I had followed his history and record. I knew he was always pro-abortion and for homosexual “marriage,” even though the Bible is clear about the dangers of such practices. Sometimes politicians say what is convenient at a certain time, and I think that’s why he originally stated his support for traditional marriage — it may be the reason he reversed his position as well.

In 2008, the black community as a whole voted almost as a single block for Mr. Obama. Blacks also overwhelmingly approved Proposition 8 in California, which banned homosexual “marriage” in favor of natural marriage during the same election. Conservative morals and values run deep in the black community. In the current election, we need to remember those roots when we go to the polls.
